TARDIS Lantern / Doctor Who 2005-06 This replica is of the top lantern from the TARDIS. The original lantern was made from a modified garden candle lantern, and we used the exact same method for our accurate replica. The identical garden lantern was found at a local home improvement store. The entire lantern was dissassembled for painting and the top vented section was removed. After this trimming, the pieces were attached together and weathering was applied to the paintjob and behind the glass windows. Inside candle light will be replaced with blinking bulb or LED light.
